Hello everyone! I'm excited to share with you the new project I'm working on! Before I do that, though, let me say this: To those of you who saw the page before this one appeared, the SHOWTIME page, let it be known that I'm not abandoning that project at all, I just think I should make something else first to get some experience under my belt.
Now then! With that said, welcome! As you can see from the image above, I'm working on developing a game called Fikki and the Weird World!
Fikki is a cat (as pictured to the above)! You'll play as her for most of the game while you adventure through a world filled with all kinds of different encounters and puzzles!
Throughout most of the game, the gameplay style will be like that of a traditional RPG, with 8-directional movement and level-up mechanics. However, those elements are far from the only ones you'll see! For example, you may encounter a puzzle that involves anything from battling all the way to hitting notes to a rhythm!
After less than a week, I've already got a few sprites and a very basic engine for the game completed, but I plan to work on this consistently over the next year or so, or however long it takes!
I always send an update announcement in my discord server when I update this page, so join it if you want to be notified next time I do!
